Today's the day.
Today's a great day.
He can totally do this today.
Pacing back and forth in the hallway outside of the Cortex at S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry tries to psyche himself up to do something that he's been thinking about for awhile now.
Barry's life has basically become about keeping secrets, and he's held onto one really big one from everybody else, including the only people who know his other really big secret.
Now that things with Captain Cold are over, Barry has taken the time to realize that a large part of the brief falling out with Cisco was about trust. Barry felt betrayed when it seemed like Cisco didn't trust him, but at the same time Barry hasn't been completely honest and trusting with Cisco, either.
So, nerve-rackingly, Barry has decided to come clean. The dude saved Barry's life, proving without a doubt just how much Barry can trust him. Besides that, though, this is just something Barry has been dying to share with somebody, and Cisco is totally the best person Barry can think of to let in on it.
As Barry continues to pace, Cisco walks out of the Cortex, tablet in hand, sucker nestled in his cheek. He makes a turn for the building exit and Barry pivots on his heel and hustles to catch up.
"Hey, yo, Cisco, you got a sec?"
Stopping in his tracks, Cisco turns and removes the sucker from his mouth.
"Well, I was just about to make a Big Belly run for Nimbus… " Cisco replies, feigning reluctance that quickly switches over into giving in. "But, considering how much of a tool bag he was yesterday when I forgot the 'no onions', he can totally wait. What's up?"
Barry hesitates on Cisco's expectant look, giving an awkward rolling shrug. "Well, like, I wanted to show you something."
"Okaaay… show me what?" Cisco asks, bewildered but also intrigued.
"It's uh-- it's hard to explain. Can you just-- c'mon, I'll show you." Nodding over his shoulder, Barry starts backtracking down the hallway.
Cisco shrugs and follows.

"Okay, first, you have to promise not to freak out," Barry says. He and Cisco are in the bowels of S.T.A.R. Labs now, standing in front of a closed utility closet door.
Cisco gives Barry an odd look and a scoff. "Dude, The Mist tries to murder me every day at chow time and I keep my cool. Cisco don't freak out."
"Okay, great. That's good," Barry replies, nodding awkwardly. "Real good… "
Turning around, Barry opens the closet door, peering inside before stepping back quickly and closing it almost all of the way; keeping his hand on the handle, but putting his back to the door.
"Okay, second, you have to promise not to tell anyone else."
This whole thing is getting curiouser and curiouser, and Cisco gives Barry an odd look.
"Dude, I gotta say, it's a little weird being sworn to secrecy right before being led into a broom closet," Cisco says, holding up his thumb and forefinger pinched together in illustration.
Barry shakes his head, "No, it's not-- "
"I'm just sayin'."
"Just promise, okay?" Barry says, giving Cisco a pointed look.
Cisco holds his arms out in a wide shrug. "Sure, I promise, but if you've got an E.T. in there I swear I'm going to scream like Drew Barrymore."
"Please don't scream." And with that Barry faces the door again and opens it, leading Cisco through.
