"Victims can remain infectious but asymptomatic for varying amounts of time, but once symptoms set in they go berserk, and they also gain the ability to freely travel between worlds without Gates."
He thinks for a few more moments.
"It's pretty easy to tell when a Digimon in the latter stages of Infection is about to show up, though. Telecommunications get massively disrupted, along with any other radio-based technology."
